There's this big taboo surrounding the word 'bondage' that conjures up all sorts of images in people's minds that really have nothing to do with it at all. Bondage is the art of restraint. Period. More often than not people make the assumption that it's all about leather, rubber, gimp masks, whips, being abused and becoming the slave of another. It's not. For starters leather and rubber etc are fetishes and the master/slave scene is all about total submission of body and mind.
I like restraining guys. Leather and rubber do absolutely nothing for me. Gimp masks just remind me of Pulp Fiction and make me snigger and the idea of having a slave doesn't interest me in the slightest. In short, I'm just a regular guy that enjoys restraining other regular guys. Yes it's a turn on but it's also a lot of fun and they are the reasons I do it. A lot of people don't seem to realise that and so I thought it was about time I highlighted it. Many assume that TieGuyUK.com is just another big commercial site churning out pics of paid models who want to earn a quick buck. Well it isn't. It's a labour of love that has taken 7 years to become what it is today and believe me if I didn't love it then I wouldn't do it because I get a lot of abuse. Messages like (and I quote) 'people like you make me sick'. I rise above it now but it still amazes me how some people are so quick to judge me from a picture on a profile or my site. If a photo of a guy in consensual bondage triggers rage inside of you then it isn't me with the problem. If you don't like what I do then what are you doing here? Click off. It's that easy. There's no pretending on TieGuyUK.com. Everything is 100% real, I just click randomly with my camera throughout the session and try to capture the best moments to show off on here. All the guys on the site have a genuine love of bondage and a strong desire to be bound and gagged. It's give and take. They let me take the pics and in return I give them a pass to the site and one hell of an afternoon. I've no interest in using 'models' because a big part of it for me is knowing that the guys are getting off on it. And they do. You can't fake a tent in a pair of footy shorts :) For years the site was entirely free to access and funded solely by me. Not months, years. I charge now to cover rising costs and to ensure minors cannot access the content and boy do I face criticism because of it. With popularity comes page hits, with page hits comes data transfer and with data transfer (not to mention hosting, all my gear, the message board etc) comes bills. Bills that can't be paid with buttons. I charge roughly the equivalent of a pint of beer a week for access. Think of that next time you order one at the bar and decide then if I'm asking too much for 7 days access. It isn't a money maker (especially when the tax man takes 22% and the billing company take 16%), it's a hobby that pays for itself and on a good month gives me a bit of pocket money for rope and tape but people are quick to label you when they see a pound sign. It's not a hard core porn site and on top of that it's a niche of a niche. You do the math.
